A Solitary Life

I have not had any inquirys lately.

It is not as if I expected many, but to have none at all is a bit disconcerning. I suppose no one wants to know the insides of a sick homebodys life.

It is no matter, in fact, I shall not even concern myself with this.

I bid all of my followers a good night. I hope November is good to you all!

What an electrifying costume for Hallows Eve! Although I do wonder at the condition of that most beautiful dress after the false blood has been applied to it.

“I take no leave of you, Miss Bennet. I send no compliments to your mother. You deserve no such attention. I am most seriously displeased.”
Lady Catherine is so awesome.

If I had a pound for every time I’ve heard the words I am most seriously displeased I’d be quite a rich old spinster.

Anonymous asked: When she allows you the opportunity to speak? I feel for you. That must be totally depressing.

Certainly, you must not know Lady Catherine in person. She hardly lets anyone the opportunity to speak.

Thank you for your concerns, O Mysterious One.

askelinordashwood asked: I thank you on behalf of my family, including Marianne and Colonel Brandon. Yes it will be a most wonderful day. You must be part of our celebrations, it would be wonderful to meet you I will Marianne, I daresay she will find this quite agreeable. That is, if my proposal suits you. I hope you have a most wonderful All Hallows celebration at Rosings! I do not think we are celebrating the festival this year. My dear I am not apprehensive of your company as a result of your connections. Elinor

Thank you for the invitation. I think that I should be able to attend the wedding celebrations, given my new regiment of medicines continue working as successfully as they do now. I would love to see such a happy marriage come together. I will ask my mother when she allows me the opportunity to speak.

Thank you for your wishes! I believe the amount of planning my mother has done for this years Hallows Eve celebration will yeild a most agreeable outcome, no expense has been spared for the celebration.

Yours, Anne de Bourgh

Mr. Darcy, Pemberley has much improved since my last visit! Is this due to the feminine touch of Miss Elizabeth, I wonder? She has quite the eye for decorating!

askjohnwilloughby asked: Miss De Bourgh, you are correct in saying it is not a trait many possess. I am afraid I lack the temperament to spend so much time wary of catching a sickness. An interesting inquiry, to be sure. I prefer to spend much of my time in town, and I have been blessed with the social graces necessary and useful in such a place. How often do you visit London? I cannot imagine you can stand any long amount of time in such a tiring social position. --John Willoughby

I do not often visit London, only for very important matters. There are too many people, that even if I was able to visit often, I would not.
